Disclosure Policy

Hello Rock People. The FTC requires that owners of blogs who make money off of links in articles, endorsing products, etc. disclose this fact. Fair enough. So this here disclosure policy serves two purposes: 1) to comply with the FTC since from time to time I use affiliate links and get compensation for telling you about products and services that I think are cool, and 2) to establish transparency and trust with the good people who come here.

Before I get into the official language, I’d like to be as clear as possible about my intentions in regular language: Any product or service that I put out there for you guys is one that I know well and have complete confidence in. I will never accept compensation to¬†recommend¬†a product that I don’t know anything about or that I don’t like.

This policy is valid from 17 February 2011
